Appointment of Acting Mayor

Council appointed Councillor Shelby Ch'ng to act as mayor and preside over the May 26, 2025 council meeting. This also authorizes the confirming by-law to provide signing authority for any related documents.

WITH RESPECT to the Appointment of Acting Mayor for the May 26, 2025 City Council meeting, we recommend that Councillor Shelby Ch'ng be appointed to preside over the meeting as Acting Mayor as per Section 242 of the Municipal Act, 2001

the confirming by-law for the May 26, 2025 City Council meeting be the authorizing by-law which provides signing authority for any associated documentation including but not limited to by-laws.
