WITH RESPECT to the March 10, 2025 City Council, we recommend that the agenda as printed, including any additional information and new business, be confirmed.
Committee of the Whole Minutes - March 3, 2025 - Deferral -
Council is postponing a decision about declaring two properties at 172 and 168 Woodside Street as surplus city land. The decision has been pushed back 2 years, with council asking for an updated report by March 31, 2027.
WITH RESPECT to the recommendation as contained in the Memorandum from Deanna Walker, Manager - Realty Services, dated February 3, 2025, as presented, we recommend that the decision be further deferred for a period of 2 years
- this matter be added to the Outstanding List for report back on or before March 31, 2027. Amendment - Deferral - Surplus Declaration - 172 and 168 Woodside Street ("the Lands")
Council voted on whether to speed up the timeline for reporting back on surplus land at 172 and 168 Woodside Street, moving the deadline from March 2027 to October 2025. The motion failed to pass.
WITH RESPECT to the Deferral - Surplus Declaration - 172 and 168 Woodside Street ("the Lands") resolution, we recommend that the report back date be changed from "March 31, 2027" to "October 31, 2025".
