Council approved the agenda for the March 6, 2023 meeting, including any additional items that were added.

WITH RESPECT to the March 6, 2023 City Council, we recommend that the agenda as printed, including any additional information and new business, be confirmed.

#4 CARRIED

Council approved four separate items: a cement mortar lining contract for infrastructure work, a condenser upgrade project for Fort William Gardens, a change to the City Treasurer appointment bylaw, and a labour relations matter. All items were approved without opposition.

THAT the following ratifying resolutions be introduced, read, dealt with individually: 1. Report 61-2022 (Infrastructure & Operations - Engineering & Operations) Contract 8, 2023 - Cement Mortar Lining; 2. Report 43-2023 (Community Services - Facilities, Fleet and Energy Management) Fort William Gardens Condenser Upgrade - Tender Award; 3. Memorandum - By-law 64-2023 - A By-law to Repeal By-law 25/2017, Appointment of City Treasurer; 4. Report 2023CLS.009 (Human Resources & Corporate Safety) Labour Relations Matter.

#2 CARRIED Council approved the minutes from their February 6, 2023 meeting as an accurate record of what was discussed and decided.

#3 CARRIED Council approved the official minutes from two Committee of the Whole meetings held in early February 2023. This is a standard administrative step to confirm what was discussed and decided at those meetings.

#6 CARRIED Council approved four updates to city bylaws: eliminating the separate City Treasurer position, updating water supply regulations, adjusting the property tax and water credit program for low-income seniors and persons with disabilities, and modifying the municipal law enforcement officer appointments for parking enforcement.
